Reflexology

Using pressure on the soles of the feet can have a relaxing and highly beneficial effect on your health. It is also a useful form of diagnosis. With some clients both reflexology and acupuncture are combined together in a 1 hour treatment.

Facial Acupuncture
£70 Allow 1 hour
This may include a small number of body points. Treatment begins with a light 100% pure essential oil rose hydrolat. Then tiny facial needles will be placed to help with issues of the skin/tension in muscle or joints (such as jaw).You will feel an all over sense of relaxation whilst the needles are retained for approx 20 minutes. This will be followed by an acupressure facial massage using a light blend of 100% pure organic oils such as neroli and rose. The treatment encourages the skin to naturally clear heat/congestion and tension through the subtle networks of the meridian lines. Additionally if you have any underlying issues related to your facial skin, this can be addressed simutaneously.If you wish to have a course of treatments (recommend at least 6) you will take home a free 5ml bottle of neroli or rose facial oil blend to use yourself on suggested acupressure points, with a tailor-made facial point diagram.
Chinese herbs may be suggested as an addition to your treatment which you can use to strengthen/compliment your acupuncture treatment.

Other methods which are included in the treatments;-
Auricular acupuncture
This involves using points on the ear. It is a similar concept to reflexology and is very often used in conjunction with the main treatment at no extra cost. It includes continued stimulation of the points over a few days with a pressure seed placed onto the point in the form of a plaster.
Moxibustion
This involves using a dried herb in the form of a stick. Moxa sticks are heated then held above the copper handled acupuncture needle giving a gentle but intense heat. This is a soothing treatment ,very helpful for muscular skeletal issues aggrivated by cold and damp, or areas of tension due to stress.
Dietary
Advice can be given which may help your condition over the long term. For example congestion in the lungs could be helped by reducing your intake of damp/phlegm produing foods such as diary or sugar

Payments can be made either by card, cash or cheque on the day of your appointment. Discounts are available for prepaid blocks, for example 6 treatments for the price of 5. This can be discussed prior to or at your first treatment. Home visits can be arranged so long as you live reasonably nearby and the cost for this is £75.
